Product Description
TL40-MF 1/2" BODY FLAT FACE CONNECT-UNDER-PRESSURE HYDRAULIC COUPLER SET (1/2" NPT)
The TL40-MF is an industrial-strength, flat-face hydraulic coupler set engineered for skid steers and heavy-duty equipment. Built to exceed the ISO 16028 standard, these couplers provide a reliable, high-pressure connection for implements and attachments on equipment from major brands including Bobcat, John Deere, CAT, Kubota, New Holland, CASE, JCB, Thomas, Gehl, Volvo, and ASV.
🗸 CONNECT-UNDER-PRESSURE CAPABILITY: Engineered specifically for high-pressure applications, this design allows for connection even when residual hydraulic pressure is trapped in the line due to heat expansion—a frequent challenge when changing attachments in the field.
🗸 HEAVY-DUTY INDUSTRIAL RATING: These are not light-duty components. Rated for over 5076 PSI and constructed from high-strength steel, they are built to handle the pressure spikes and environmental stress of professional site operations.
🗸 SPILL-RESISTANT FLAT FACE DESIGN: The flush-face profile minimizes hydraulic fluid loss during disconnection. This design is exceptionally easy to keep clean, preventing contaminants from entering your hydraulic system during connection and disconnection cycles.
🗸 PRECISION LOCKING MECHANISM: The push-connect locking sleeve features heavy knurling to ensure a non-slip grip, even when the coupler is covered in grease or mud. This allows for fast, efficient attachment changes, even when the operator is wearing heavy safety gloves.
🗸 CORROSION RESISTANCE: The trivalent zinc plating acts as a robust barrier against moisture and environmental exposure, preventing the rust that causes locking sleeves to seize and couplers to become inoperable.

Q: Are these "Flat Face" or "Ball Style" couplers?
A: These are Flat Face (ISO 16028) couplers. They are designed to be "no-spill," meaning they significantly reduce hydraulic fluid leakage during disconnection and are much easier to keep clean than traditional AG-style ball-detent couplers.
Q: Why is the "Connect-Under-Pressure" feature important?
A: Hydraulic attachments sitting in the sun often build up trapped pressure due to heat expansion. Standard couplers often cannot be connected under this pressure, whereas the TL40-MF design allows you to connect these lines easily without needing to bleed off fluid manually.
Q: Are these compatible with my machine?
A: These couplers are designed to be fully interchangeable with any standard 1/2" body Flat Face coupler that meets the ISO 16028 standard. They are a direct replacement for many OEM parts on most major brands of skid steers and attachments.
Q: How do I identify if my machine uses AG-Style vs. Flat Face?
A: Look at the coupler face. If the surface is completely flat and flush, it is a Flat Face (ISO 16028) coupler. If you see a spring-loaded "button" or ball-like valve in the center, it is an AG-Style (Poppet). You must match the style of your machine's female ports exactly.
